Kenyon Strother is the author of the Threads of Power series, a young adult fantasy adventure. Born and raised in Irmo, South Carolina, Strother draws inspiration from his family's diverse heritage, which includes unexpected connections to mythology discovered through his passion for genealogy and his love of travel. As a lover of fantasy and sci-fi, representation is very important to him. Growing up, he didn't see a lot of people who looked like him on the shows he loved. He wants to make sure his own children – a mixed-race blended family – can always see themselves represented. The first two books in the Threads of Power series, The Awakening and Loom of Fates, have been inducted into the Library of Congress. When not writing, he enjoys spending time with his fiancée and children, immersing himself in virtual reality with his Meta Quest 2 headset, indulging in his love for movies and TV shows, and brainstorming new fantasy ideas for the future!
